I have never been much of a Star Wars fan. Back when Episodes IV, V and VI were re-released in the 90's, I did see them all in the theatres, but never fell in love with them the way many fanatics do. When the first three episodes were later made available, I refused to see them... not because I didn't find any merit in the series, but because the hype alone turned me off (as does most mainstream stuff). Which was a shame, really. The story behind the films' production was certainly interesting and something I've come to appreciate more now that I work in the industry.
And so I recently set out to rectify this void in my viewership with these and many other iconic films I've neglected to watch throughout my life. This past week, I finally set my eyeballs on Episodes I, II and III for the very first time, followed by a re-watching of the last three I'd previously purged from my memory. In typical Holly Style, post-perusing research ensued... bringing me to this:
Six hours of Star Wars for 42 seconds of gargling goodness... worth it :)
